Merced Police Officers were dispatched to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision at the intersection of West Main and N Streets at around 9:25 Thursday morning.

When officers arrived, They located a woman in the middle of the roadway. The woman was awake and sitting on the roadway when medical personnel arrived at the scene.

The woman was put inside a RIGGS ambulance with unknown injuries at this time.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the collision scene and is cooperating with investigating officers.
