Merced Police Officers are investigating a crash that killed a driver in Merced.

It happened at around 7:30 on Saturday morning at the intersection of Carmen Way and La Mesa Court.

When officers arrived, they located two vehicles involved with major damage.

Life-saving measures were taken to save a man’s life but unfortunately he died at the scene.

At this time it appears police are looking for the responsible of the other vehicle who left the scene.
