The Merced Police Department is hired four new officers who graduated from the Police Academy on June 28th, 2019 according to their most recent post.

Lets all welcome Officer Saldivar, Officer Calcagno, Officer Shaw, and Officer Floratos.

They all will go through an eighteen week Field Training Program before becoming a solo beat officer.

Chief Goodwin will officially swear in the newest officers on Friday, July 19th, 2019
