Atwater, CA- At least two people were killed in a Friday night crash in Merced County.
California Highway Patrol and medical personnel responded to the area of Santa Fe Drive and Spaceport Entry in Atwater at around 9:40 for reports of a collision.
When officers arrived, one of the vehicles was fully engulfed and the second vehicle was overturned.
Two people were pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
At this time it’s unknown how many occupants were in both vehicles, the identity of the individuals or vehicles description remains unknown.
No other information was immediately available.
