This is not a duplicate post, Laika has done it again. She is a machine.
A male adult (suspect) was stopped northbound I-5 north of Russell Avenue at 1400 hours, for tinted windows. During the course of the contact officers observed several indicators of criminal activity.
Laika was called in to conduct a sniff and alerted to the odor of narcotics on the suspect’s vehicle. A subsequent probable cause search revealed approximately $80,000 in US currency.
The currency was packaged inside ziploc sandwich bags. During a post interview, the suspect admitted that the currency was derived from the sale of narcotics. The currency was seized and charges are pending.
