Bicyclist hit by vehicle in Merced, witnesses say the vehicle fled the scene

Merced police are investigating a hit and run after a bicyclist was hit Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus a bicyclist at the intersection of West 21st and H street at around 5:00 p.m.

Witnesses at the scene told officers, a green-colored vehicle struck the cyclists and fled the scene.

The man was taken by RIGGS ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Merced Police are asking anyone with any
information regarding this crime to contact them at 209-385-8886.
