Just a week ago Merced police found a deceased person in an alley on Marthella and Yosemite Park Way. Police are now investigating a second dead body found by the Black Rascal creek near a Bike Path on an empty field.

It’s unknown if the deceased individual was homeless at this time. The deceased individual age, name and race was not available. The Merced County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death on the individual.
