VEHICLE HITS TREE IN MERCED SENDING OCCUPANTS TO LOCAL HOSPITALS

On March 1st, 2018, at around 5:40PM Merced Police, Merced firefighters and Riggs Ambulance responded to the 2700 block of Glen Avenue and Bear Creek Drive for a single vehicle accident.

Upon arrival first responders discovered a Black lifted Chevrolet truck that lost control, hitting a tree on its passenger side. First responders used Jaws of life tools to remove the trucks occupants.

Upon Merced Gateway News arriving on scene, there was three Ambulances attending the occupants of the vehicle, it appeared all three occupants were taken by ambulance to unknown hospitals. No age or ethnicity of the occupants was available.

It is not know if speed,drugs,or alcohol caused this accident. Merced Police did not release any information regarding the crash.
