On January 30th, 2019, at around 2:15 p.m at the Modesto Airport, an owner was working on his fixed-wing plane when he inadvertently started the engine causing it to drive away and clip an unoccupied parked vehicle and crash into a fence.

No one was in the plane and no one was injured during the incident. The FAA responded and took over the investigation.
