On February 17th, 2018, at around 9:50A.M. Riggs, CHP and Merced city fire department responded to Northbound Highway 99 near the Childs Avenue off ramp behind previous D’Angelos restaurant location for an overturned vehicle.

While waiting for paramedics drivers who witnessed the accident stopped to help. Upon arrival there was only one occupant in the Honda vehicle the man appeared to have only minor injuries. The vehicle had unoccupied children car seats.
