The California Highway Patrol is investigating a collision after a man crashed his vehicle into a Save Mart big rig Monday afternoon in Merced County.

The crash was reported at 3:45 on East Mission Avenue and Henry Road. When officers arrived, they located a Save Mart big rig with a silver-colored Honda Civic sedan stuck under the trailer. Details on how the crash occurred are not available at this time.

The driver of the Honda was arrested for suspicion of DUI. No injuries or other occupants in the vehicles were reported at the scene.
