Los Banos Police officers responded to the 1000 block of Marsala street early this morning at around 12:09 a.m. for a report of shots fired.

Officers responded to a home in the area and found a 21 year-old-male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was airlifted to a Modesto area hospital where he remains in stable condition according to Los Banos Police recent press release.

The investigation is still in the early stages and detectives are still continuing to follow up on leads.
