I was originally stationed at Castle Air Force Base. And after being discharged I came back to Merced in 1982 to go to college there… And I worked at Pizza Villa for that year and a half or so before heading home to Massachusetts. Andy was a great boss, it was a great place to work… And of course the best pizza in town! In the year 2000 I had a chance to return to California and made it a point to visit the old stomping grounds and pop in and visit Andy, who not surprisingly remembered me! Best wishes to him and his family! Thanks for being part of one of the best times in my life…
