Two killed in Motorcycle crash, this is what CHP says

Two people on a motorcycle were killed after being involved in a collision in the Los Baños area.

The Los Baños area California Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of State Route 33 North of Marshall Road for reports of a collision at around 8:05 Wednesday morning.

Preliminary investigation reveals the operator of a 2007 Suzuki GSXR was traveling southbound on SR-33 at an unknown speed when it rear-ended a 2015 GMC pick up making a left turn onto private property.

The collision caused both occupants of the Suzuki to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Authorities say both occupants of the motorcycle landed on the Northbound lanes of SR-33 with the motorcycle landing near them.

Approximately 5-minutes later a white truck tractor/trailer combination traveling Northbound on SR-33 applied its brakes and moved left but struck the Suzuki and possibly both occupants of the motorcycle, CHP said.

Both occupants of the motorcycle died at the scene, no other injuries were reported.

Authorities are looking for the white truck tractor/trailer combination, it was last seen traveling Northbound on SR-33.

The identity of the motorcycle occupants is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Anyone with any information is asked to call your local CHP office.
