This is what Merced Police found in a home

On September 13, 2018, Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU), Disruptive Area Response Team (DART) and patrol officers served a search warrant at a home at 211 ParkWest street in Merced for a marijuana grow.

During the search, officers located over 1500 marijuana plants, firearms and over $102,900.00 in cash. Officers seized the evidence and continued their investigation. During the course of their investigation, officers seized more rifles and handguns. The suspects involved in this case are still outstanding.

The public can send information via anonymous text messages to police department by dialing “TIP411” (847411) and including the word “Comvip” as the “keyword” in the text message.
