Early this morning, Officer Kellom noticed a 2014 Mercedes sedan that appeared to be freshly painted with black spray paint and no license plates traveling on Madera Ave.

The Mercedes was found to have been a reported stolen vehicle by Atwater Police Department two days ago.

The driver, Juan Cardona, was arrested for being in possession of stolen property. Cardona was also in possession of methamphetamine and a meth pipe.

As the cooler weather approaches, please avoid leaving your vehicles unattended while warming up on cold mornings.
