The man suspected in taking part in the killing of a man in south Merced yesterday was arrested in Oakland yesterday afternoon, Oakland Police were involved in a chase with the vehicle that ended in a crash.

A total of three Men were arrested, police are looking into whether the other two men riding in the vehicle with the suspect are involved in this homicide case.

James Martin, 28-year-old was booked into the Merced Country jail. Martin is being charged with first-degree murder and his bond amount is currently at $1,000,000.00.
