On October 28th, 2019, at approximately 9:05 P.m., Merced California Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of East South Bearcreek just West of Plainsburg road for a report of a vehicle rollover.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 2006 Ford Pick up truck on its roof.
28-year-old Marcus Jhonson of Merced was driving at an unknown speed when he lost control of the truck and overturned an unknown amount of times, CHP officer Zuniga said.
Johnson was transported by air ambulance to a Modesto hospital with major injuries.
A front passenger, 20-year-old old Keith Doyle complained of pain but refused medical treatment, officer Zuniga said.
Two female passengers in the truck were also injured, 39-year-old Sarah Hamm out of Fresno and a 17-year-old from Merced both were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital.
The collision remains under investigation according to the California Highway Patrol.
