On May 31st, 2019, at approximately 10:07 p.m., officers from the Merced Police Department responded to the intersections of West Childs Avenue and M street for a vehicle vs a Motorcycle collision.

Upon arrival police located a male adult with major injuries.

According to Sergeant Foster from the Merced Police department, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Childs Avenue when for unknown reasons a vehicle traveling Northbound on M street entered the intersection to make a right on eastbound Childs Avenue and collided.

The motorcyclist was med-flighted to a Modesto hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The collision remains under investigation, no further information was provided.
