The Merced Sheriffs Department arrested 23-year-old Ervin Segebart in the 7000 block of Crawford street in Winton on November 13th, 2019 on a felony warrant for a violation of his parole.

The Sheriffs STAR Team began looking for Ervin, after he was located hiding under a mattress by Deputy Damien Sparks and his K-9  partner Zeke,  Ervin refused to come out and Zeke was used to apprehend the suspect.

Deputies transported Segebart to a local hospital before booking him into the Merced County Jail.
