A permit has been issued for the demolition of the former Kentucky Fried Chicken and Ranch Restaurants.

The buildings are located on the northeast corner of West 16th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Downtown Merced.

A fence has been installed along the perimeter of the subject sites.

According to the City, the Economic Development staff is working with the property owner on marketing the site and development opportunity.
