Merced County Sheriff’s say they located a man dead after receiving reports of an abandoned vehicle in an orchard in Delhi last Friday morning.

Authorities responded to the area of Bloss Avenue and Sycamore Street. When they arrived, they located a deceased adult Hispanic male. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

The Investigations Bureau is currently investigating this as a homicide.
