54-year-old Convicted Felon Arrested with a Firearm in Merced

On February 22, 2019, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) developed information that convicted felon 54-year-old Adolpho Serena had a gun. Officers located Serena at a home in the 700 block of W 23rd Street in Merced. Officers searched the residence and located a 9mm handgun and ammunition.

Serena admitted that the gun belonged to him. He is a convicted felon and cannot possess any firearms. He was arrested and booked at the Merced County Jail for felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
