On Sunday, May 26th, 2019, at approximately 8:29 p.m., a 40-year-old from Pomona California was driving a 2017 Nissan Altima Eastbound on State Route 152 in the #1 lane west of state route 33 (Gonzaga Road) at approximately 65-75 miles per hour.

For unknown reasons the Driver of the Nissan lost control of the vehicle and traveled across the median into the westbound lanes of traffic broadsiding into a tree.

As a result of the collision, the driver 40-year-old male, 22-year-old female, 9-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old boy, all sustained fatal injuries according to Seargent Shannon Stiers from the California Highway Patrol Los Banos area office.

According to CHP, they are all out from Pomona California. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor on this collision.

The names are being withheld till the next of kin is notified. The collision remains under investigation.
