On March 30, 2019 at approximately 4:36 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of G Street for a report of a shooting.

Officers arrived and found a 17-year-old male with two gunshot wounds. The 17-year-old victim was transported to a Modesto area hospital for treatment.

An officer located a white Chevrolet Malibu in the 400 block of Rockport Drive. Michael Isaac Lozano, 20 and Taylor Wade Johnston, 23, of Los Banos were seen getting out of the vehicle.

The officer detained Johnson who was on probation and Lozano walked away after briefly talking with the officer. After Lozano left, the officer located evidence linking the vehicle and Lozano to the G Street shooting.

Johnston was arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with conspiracy, accessory to a crime, and participation in a criminal street gang. A warrant has been issued and Michael Isaac Lozano is sought in connection with the G Street shooting. Lozano is pictured below.

The shooting appears to be gang motivated and the investigation is ongoing.
