WARNING! moderate to high threat of significant flooding in Central California

A strong storm system could impact Central California Tuesday through Wednesday, resulting in substantial precipitation and a moderate to high threat of significant flooding in parts of the Southern Sierra Nevada and in the Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, and Tulare County foothills.

The snow level could rise to around 9,000 feet at the beginning before lowering to 7,000 feet towards the end. Unsettled weather will continue into Thursday and Friday due to another low-pressure system.
