City of Turlock firefighters rescued a dog from a burning car on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters received a call of a vehicle on fire in the 1300 block of West Main Street just at around 3:00 p.m., when firefighters arrived at the scene, they were notified that a dog was still inside the vehicle.

A firefighter immediately broke out some of the vehicle’s windows and rescued the dog and the fire was put out.
