Merced police officers are investigating a robbery at 7-Eleven on West Olive Avenue and R street.

Officers responded to the business at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived, they were told there was possibly five to six suspects involved.

Police say one of the suspects was an African-American with a black revolver with a brown handle. A second suspect was described as a white male, no description of the other suspects was provided.

Police say the suspects took Backwoods Cigars, a pack of White Owls and money from the register was placed in a grocery bag. All suspects were wearing gloves and left the area in a vehicle police said.
