A new Taco Bell fast-food restaurant is expected to open in Merced.

The property at 1990 Yosemite Parkway used to be Sierra Muffler and Radiators.

The business closed in November of 2019 after an early morning fire. The fire caused over $85,000 in damage.

The building was demolished and the word is, a new Taco Bell is going at that location.

Construction is expected to begin soon, the opening day has not been announced.
