A Door Dash driver was shot multiple times in Modesto Monday night.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Gardenia Road at around 9:45, callers reported hearing multiple gunshots police say.

When officers arrived in the area, they located an adult male in his vehicle suffering from several gunshot wounds. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but unfortunately, the victim died at the scene.

The homicide victim in this investigation has been identified as 56-year-old Andrew Satavu of Modesto. Andrew was a delivery driver for Door Dash and had just completed a food delivery in the area.
