According to the City of Merced, Northbound “R” Street from Olivewood Drive to Loughborough Drive will be reduced to one lane and sidewalks will be closed as well.

Eastbound West Olive Avenue will have the farthest right lane closed from Austin Avenue to the Applewood Lane area.

This is scheduled for Friday, November 6th between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

Please proceed through the area with caution, share the road with non-vehicular traffic and expect delays.

“R” Street, between West 16th Street and West 18th Street, will be completely closed for overnight utility work. This will impact sidewalks as well, this work is scheduled for November 10th from 9 pm and 5 am.

West Main Street, between “M” Street and “N” Street, will have shifted narrow lanes for over two months. Detour signs will be in place for an alternate route.

This work zone will remain shifted 24 hours a day beginning Monday, November 9th and continue through Monday, January 4th, 2021.
