Merced police say they arrested 23-year-old Sergio Valencia for Reckless Driving.

Officer B. Saelee was patrolling the area of M Street and Gerard Avenue on June, 26th, 2021, at around 12:30 p.m.,  when he observed a grey Dodge Challenger at the intersection take off and break traction causing it to do “donuts”.

Valencia’s vehicle nearly struck a vehicle at the intersection.

Officer Saelee made a traffic stop and arrested the driver for Reckless driving, his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
