On March 12th, 2019, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Merced Police Department Animal control unit was involved in a vehicle collision with a Chevrolet Cruze at the intersections of West 20th and K streets.

No injuries were reported, no pets appeared to be in the Animal control unit, at this time it’s unclear to who was at fault.

No further information is available, we are waiting on a press release from the Merced Police department if they provide one to the community.
