The Historical Merced Theatre in downtown Merced went digital, earlier last week they replaced the old Marquee with digital color screens.
The full Marquee has five panels, they are controlled by a computer that can change the messages quicker.
The new screens did not change the frame of the original marquee.
This all happened thanks to community donations to the theatre foundation.
That makes a lot of sense. Taking a historical building and mucking it up with the latest tech. Idiotic in my opinion.
