On Saturday, May 13, 2017, at about 6:40 A.M., Delano Police Officers responded to the intersection of 11th Avenue and Albany Street in regards to a traffic collision. Passenger Teresa Terrones was airlifted to Kern Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries on May 23, 2017.

The driver of the second vehicle, Ralph Manuel Arvizu, 29-year-old, of Delano, fled the scene of the collision. The Delano Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community to locate Arvizu, who may be staying at the apartment complex located at 430 20th Avenue.
