FREEWAY SHOOTING

On May 28th, 2019, at approximately 9:29 p.m., Stockton CHP responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision involving a Honda on northbound I-5 north of Charter Way.

Upon arrival to the scene, it was determined the collision had been caused by a shooting.

The solo occupant of the Honda had been shot several times and succumbed to his injuries.

At this point, the suspect is outstanding. This homicide investigation is being handled by the CHP Investigation Services Unit.
