Juveniles accused of assault and robbery of Merced Pizza delivery driver

Two juveniles have been booked into juvenile hall for assault and robbery, Merced Police say.

Officers responded to the 2500 block of Glen Avenue for reports of a Pizza who had been robbed and assaulted at around 8:03 Sunday night, police said.

When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old female driver to be suffering from a laceration to the face.

During the investigation,, it was determined that two juveniles (14) and (13) year-olds assaulted the victim taking several boxes of pizza’s before running to a nearby apartment.

Witnesses led officers to the apartment where the two juveniles were arrested. The pizzas were located at the scene. Both juveniles were booked into Juvenile hall.
