The Merced Police department is currently in the area of East child’s Avenue near Golden Valley high school investigating a vehicle vs a male juvenile who was crossing the street on a skateboard and was hit.

The responsible vehicle did stay at the scene.

The Juvenile is alert and walking, it does not appear to be any serious injuries at this time, he is currently being checked by Riggs Ambulance.  Further information is currently available.
