Four suspects burglarize cannabis dispensary, over $69,000 stolen in merchandise

The Sonora Police Department is asking for the community’s help to identify the four suspects who burglarized Hazy Bulldog Farms cannabis dispensary last Wednesday morning.

Just after 4:00 am, on September 11th, 2019 the Police Department received calls from a passer-by along with the alarm company of a burglary in progress at the cannabis dispensary on Mono Way.

When officers arrived on scene, they found that a door to the business had been pried open and the interior in disarray. Unfortunately, the suspects had fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.

After a thorough review of the inventory, the owner of the business reported a loss of over $69,000 in cannabis and cannabis products.

Video surveillance from the business indicates the four male suspects had used a black sedan to carry out this crime. The vehicle they used is believed to be a 2015 or 2016 Honda CR-V with paper dealer plates.

Because of the high quantity of drugs associated with this crime, police hope someone can identify the persons from the images and help them get the product back off of the streets.

Although this cannabis was originally stocked for medicinal sales, in the wrong hands, such as children, it could be very dangerous.

If anyone has any information about this crime, please call the Sonora Police Department at 209-532-8141.
