Two men have been arrested in connection to a shooting at Studio 6 Hotel in Merced.
Officers were called to Studio Monday night at around 11 for reports of a gunshot victim.
When officers arrived, they found a 54-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon further investigation, officers were able to view surveillance and learned that two subjects dressed in all black shot the victim during a robbery.
Witnesses advised that the suspects ran north on V Steet towards Carls Jr.
During the investigation it was learned that the suspects ran to a room at Motel 6 located in the 1400 blk of V Street.
The suspects were taken into custody without incident. 23-year-old Tyrece Brewer and 18-year-old Curtis Davis both from Fresno were identified as the suspects.
The firearm used in the shooting was recovered. Both Brewer and Davis were booked into the Merced County Sheriff Office Jail for attempted homicide and robbery.
