The California Highway Patrol Los Banos, area is asking for the motoring public’s help in finding, 54-year-old Satwant Bains, who is missing.
Mr. Bains is from Fowler California and was last seen leaving for work on the evening of May 14, 2019, and has had no contact with family since that night.
On May 15, 2019, at approximately 5:00 am, California Highway Patrol Officers responded to a call of a semi-truck sitting idle within the right northbound lane of Interstate 5, at Whitworth Road, northwest of Los Banos.
CHP Officers identified the semi-truck and said it was Mr. Bains truck. Bains is 5’8″ and weighs approximately 230 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and a black goatee.
Family members say he has a small cross tattooed on the back of his hand.
California Highway Patrol Officers and California Highway Patrol Air Operations (H40) conducted a search in the area, however, Bains was not located.
The investigation is being handled by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department.
