Merced Police Department is currently in the 1900 block of Pinehurst Drive for reports of a 4-year-old who was stabbed.

Officers responded to a home on Pinehurst Drive at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a 4-year-old with a stab wound to the abdomen.

According to police radio feed, the 4-year-old was stabbed by a possible 3-year-old. The child was taken by ambulance from the home, the identity, motive, and condition remain unknown.
