22-year-old Officer Natalie Corona was shot and killed last evening after responding to a 3 car traffic collision around 6:00 p.m. on January 10th, 2019.
Officer Corona started as a Community Service Officer in 2016, and graduated the POST academy in July 2018 and was promoted to an officer position at Davis Police Department.
Corona had just completed the Field Training Program a couple of weeks ago. The suspect was found at a home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Prayers are with every law enforcement agency, and families of Officer Corona.
