On February 2nd, 2018, An 18-year-old was arrested after a video on the internet surfaced showing him forcefully throwing the cat into water, The Patterson Police Department released the statement.

The video shows the 18-Year-old holding the cat with one hand before throwing it into a body of water. The cat then pops up from under the surface when the video ends. Police are interviewing the person arrested to see what happened to the cat.

Police said the public’s cooperation helped officers quickly investigate the incident and resolve the crime.
