On February 3rd, 2018, At around 4:08P.M. Merced Police department received a call of an unresponsive man found in an alley on the intersection of Yosemite parkway and Marthella Avenue in Merced. Upon Merced police arriving on scene they confirmed that the man was in fact unresponsive, police then started CPR procedures and requested medical personal to the scene.

Riggs Ambulance service along with Merced fire department took over and continued CPR on the man after twenty minutes of trying to resuscitate the man, medical personal stopped and claimed him deceased. Merced police taped the area with crime scene tape. It is unknown how old the man was, according to some witnesses they said ” I saw him against the fence with his head tilt down we thought he was asleep I seen him there since 1:00PM today”. No other information was available at the time.
