Two men found deceased inside houseboat on Lake Mc Clure

On January 11th, 2020, at approximately 1:00 pm, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s office was contacted by a friend of 68-year-old Roger Dennis of La Grange.

The friend had not heard from Roger in over a week and after making multiple attempts to get a hold of him he called the Sheriff’s Office.

Roger lived in a houseboat moored in the Arnold Bay area of Lake McClure.

Deputies arrived at the houseboat and while attempting to make contact found Roger Dennis and 63-year-old Myles Correia of Merced both deceased inside.

No foul play is suspected at this time.

Additional Information will be released after the investigation & autopsies are complete.
