Two men arrested for hanging two dogs, beating them to death

On October 17th, 2018, (Wednesday night), Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to an address in the 14200 block of Ave 428 in Orosi regarding an animal cruelty complaint. On arrival, Deputies found two dead dogs.

Throughout the investigation, Detectives determined 51-year-old Angel Perez Valencia and 18-year-old Carlos Rivera had brutally killed the dogs.

Detectives learned that Valencia and Rivera suspected the dogs killed their baby pigs. So, they hung both dogs and beat them to death with sticks. Both men were arrested and booked at the Pre-Trial Facility on multiple animal cruelty charges.
