Two men arrested for arson at former Travis credit union bank

Merced Police detectives have arrested two men in connection to the fire at the former Travis credit union bank.

Officers say it took several hours for fire personnel to contain the fire and detectives responded to begin an investigation.

Today detectives identified William Glisan and Larry Smiley Jr as the possible suspects.

Merced Police detectives along with Merced Police Disruptive Area Response Team officers located Glisan and Smiley. After an investigation Glisan and Smiley were arrested and booked on charges of arson and conspiracy.
