TWO ARRESTED IN MERCED BY MERCED POLICE DEPARTMENT

On February 22, 2018, the Merced Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) contacted gang member Robert Gonzalez 38-year-old, and Cassandra Miller 32-year-old, inside a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block E Main Street.

Officers searched the car and located a loaded 38 caliber revolver under the seat. Gonzalez admitted ownership of the revolver and was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and gang enhancements. Miller was arrested for a felony warrant and sales of narcotics. They were both booked at the Merced County jail for the mentioned charges.
