Three Los Banos men sought for home invasion case

On January 18, 2019, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a search warrant was served at a home in the 15000 block of Badger Flat Road in connection with a January 11, 2019, home invasion robbery. The robbery occurred at a home in the 400 block of West K Street in Los Banos at around 2:00 a.m.

Three armed men entered the home and pointed a gun at two adults and a teenage boy. The adults were ordered into a back bedroom where they were forced to hand over cash and a firearm that was kept in the home.

Los Banos Detectives tracked the suspects and a vehicle used in the crime to the Badger Flat Road home. The suspects are identified as Jose Manuel Morales, 30-year-old, Josue Zavala, 24-year-old, and Anthony Alarcon, 26-year-old all of Los Banos.

The Merced County Sheriff’s SWAT team was used in an abundance of caution and we want to thank them for their help in safely serving this search warrant.

Detectives located a firearm, ammunition, and a large amount of methamphetamine inside the Badger Flat home.

This investigation is ongoing and we are continuing to follow-up leads in an attempt to find and arrest the suspects in this case. We are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Sean Bayard at (209) 827-2520.
